László Póti is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade. He graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the Moscow State University of International Relations. He received his PhD from the University of Economy of Budapest in 2000. He served as a diplomat at the Hungarian Embassy in Moscow, and took part in the OSCE’s special observation mission to Ukraine. His main fields of research are: the post-Soviet region, including the Russian foreign and security policy, crisis in Ukraine, as well as the integration processes in the Commonwealth of Independent States. He speaks English, Russian, French and Portuguese.
